Marc Vollbracht, managing partner of the Family- and Wellnesshotel Sonnenpark in Willingen, has known the 4-star hotel for as long as he can remember. The 36-year-old grew up with the hotel, which his parents Karin and Ulrich Vollbracht built in 1983.
After graduating from high school and training as a hotel manager at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Vollbracht took up his position as managing director in his parents' business in 2007. Far from it, whoever assumes that the career choice was the wish and specification of the parents. Although - or precisely because - Marc Vollbracht had absolutely free rein, he decided to train in the hotel industry with the perspective of taking over the Family- and Wellnesshotel Sonnenpark later on and continuing to manage it in the second generation. After studying marketing part-time at the Bavarian Academy for Marketing and Advertising, Marc Vollbracht became managing partner of the 4-star hotel in 2013. He is also a member of the supervisory board of Familotel AG.
