The wellness hotel LIFESTYLE Resort Zum Kurfürsten in Bernkastel-Kues, Rhineland-Palatinate, promises "Holidays on the Moselle with lifestyle effect". According to the philosophy of the hotel, this includes the two pillars of wellness and health. Medically, Mr. Buckermann relies on traditional Asian wisdom and has thus developed the house into one of the leading providers of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Germany. A team of three alternative practitioners takes care of the guests' needs. The own TCM concept underpins the wellness idea lived in the "Kurfürst". Thus physical and mental relaxation can be experienced directly.
Chinese wisdom also permeates the cuisine of the house: In addition to regional specialities, menus based on the Chinese 5-element cuisine are offered - from breakfast to dinner. The principles of this diet for healthy cooking at home can be learned in special courses. However, you wouldn't be on the Moselle if you couldn't also indulge in timeless enjoyment here, in one of the country's most beautiful wine-growing regions - while relaxing in the pool, snuggling up in the suite or enjoying a cool Riesling on the terrace. Furthermore, the Roman city of Trier with the Porta Nigra is nearby and the rocky Moselle landscape is ideal for walking or cycling tours.
Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at the fire place within the more than 900 m² wellness area that includes a rooftop swimming pool (5x8m) with a panoramic view – as well as a whirlpool, a waterfall with natural volcanic stone from the Eifel area, water currents, a rest area with raised dais, mediterranean rest area with fountain, foot pool and warming recliner, adventure rock grotto with whirltubs, diving pool, shower experience, scented steam bath with Tepidarium, Chinese herb sauna, Finnish sauna.
Fitness cardio area with Life Fitness machines, coloured light therapy rooms, balneotherapy rooms, salt grotto with Himalayan salt, wellness bistro right within the wellness area with wellness reception and book rental, lawn.

Intensive energizing and balancing full-body treatments and massages provide relaxation. With the beauty treatments you are in the best of hands, also in case of allergies, skin diseases and when professional care is sought on topics such as cellulite, wrinkle treatment, atrophic skin, irritations, dry skin (sebostasis) and acne.
